Film is art, film is life. I am a writer, producer, and editor, and on this site, you will find samples of my creative work. From the features I have produced and the scripts I have written or worked on, you can discover what I am passionate about when it comes to the stories I like to share. In a sentence, I am driven by stories about fatherhood, family, and science fiction.  And not in that particular order.

An old adage goes that movies are made three times: on the page, on set, and in the edit suite. Editing is the final chance you have to make your film. As an editor, I work primarily in Premiere and the entire Adobe suite, though I am currently teaching myself DaVinci Resolve. Editing is creative and collaborative. I tend to keep my editing classical: to me the story is what drives the editing. When you edit you should highlight and elevate the story of the script, not hide behind fancy tricks because your story is weak.

Perhaps closest to my heart, I am an educator. I have taught for the last four years at the collegiate level. For me, teaching is a natural extension of my passion for film.
